Just thought I would mention that "Voice Access" is now available in the Windows 11 dev channel! I have been testing it and it basically allows you to dictate and control your computer by voice! It's not quite Dragon, but darned close. And assuming Microsoft's purchase of Nuance goes ahead, I expect very good things to follow.

If you're on the latest Windows Insiders "Dev Channel", head over to:

Settings > Accessibility > Speech to activate it!

It might be very useful for me as I'm a very slow typist. Does this thing work with other languages except English?

The only novelty is a collection of dedicated voice commands for Windows and Apps. Dictate texts, you can already do that since Windows Vista.

The updated dictate feature might be more powerful, though.

The accuracy is way better than the old system. There is a reason why Microsoft was so keen to buy Nuance. Speech recognition and speech commands is big business.
