@Mods Where are you? Forums at risk Tagapagpost sa thread: Zea_Mays

I wonder how it is possible that OBVIOUS spam threads continue to pass vetting. Are you using AI for this job? What if a really dangerous post gets published, including malicious links (sooner or later this will be the case with this carelessness)?
As I understand it, mods were volunteers brought in to police the likes of me. Are you volunteering for the role?

They seem to have weird priorities like a few personal antipathies, while cyber threat actors are maybe testing what it takes to brake through their "security" measures. And not to mention the improperly implemented Cloudflare watchdog that is probably preventing clients from using the site = us from making money...

When you see and recognized dog poop, just don't tread upon it.
The forums are dead.
The colleagues also explained.

Contact the staff, they solve, there was a very defamating post last week, the staff solved, you can check how many posts were deleted, (Money matters).

They do solve, but not always at the same speed ...

Nowadays, we have moderators in languages they neither translate from nor to, and they retain their moderator status for 10 years or more. Says a lot. Who wants to be a millionaire/moderator? ▲ Collapse

That's the theory, yes.
However, all the contributors to this thread - except your good self - are no longer (or never have been) paying members of Proz.
When we non-payers submit a support ticket, it lands at the tail end of a veeeery long queue (often behind a hundred or more earlier tickets), and all 'paying member' tickets have absolute priority. It can - and often does - take days, weeks or even months to get any response from staff. I've had a serious bug report sitting in the queue for around 7 or 8 years, with zero action taken.
I, for one, have given up using the support system. I don't need to waste my time and effort trying to coerce the platform into saving its own skin.
If Proz management are happy to see the Forum go down the drain like the Jobs System has in recent months, so be it.
If you, Angie, as a paying member, feel inclined to drop a ticket close to the top of the support queue, all well and good.

Why haven’t these threads been removed? Why hasn’t spammer Rita Williams’ profile been deleted?

But sometimes (often?) you aren't even aware there is one. The mod D/IT for example seems to be extremely busy with other things and doesn't apparently have any time to react even when called in directly.
So what? | | |

So what?
I was informed by mod that my call for MODERATORS has been cancelled.
And Rita is still there.

A typical team of RU Mods on Proz since XX century.
