I want to thank you all for your comments and feedback concerning the Greek version of the site. We have taken into account your concerns and suggestions. As a result, many of your fellow members have come together to form a team to continue with the revisions and translate the new areas of the site which have been made available to be localized this month. I want to thank you all for your comments and feedback concerning the Greek version of the site. We have taken into account your concerns and suggestions. As a result, many of your fellow members have come together to form a team to continue with the revisions and translate the new areas of the site which have been made available to be localized this month. Your colleague Angeliki Papadopoulou will lead the project.
The team will be revising some of the files that were previously translated and also translating the 33,000 new words which were added to the project. These new words will allow all FAQ's and email notifications for KudoZ and job postings to be localized. In addition, they will also be undertaking a new project to build a TM on the ProZ.com server which will preserve the work and make daily maintenance of the site easier.
The team will also be posting not-for-points KudoZ questions concerning terminology. This contribution of interested members in the Greek community who aren't on the localization team will be invaluable. Their input will influence the word selection process of the site and will ensure that the end translation is top quality and a community-wide consensus has been reached. Efforts are being made to provide the capability of seeing where on the site these terms come from, so that when members answer the KudoZ term queries they can see each item in the context that it is used on the site.
Please note that before the Greek version is publicly re-released there will be an exclusive previewing of the site for a limited time. This will allow the community to express their concerns, comments, or compliments before it is made public.

Just a short note to give you an update on what has been happening through the summer on the Greek Localized Version.
The team of active colleagues working on the project is four-strong and members are from Thessaloniki, Rhodes and Athens. We are, of course, still accepting team members!

The team of active colleagues working on the project is four-strong and members are from Thessaloniki, Rhodes and Athens. We are, of course, still accepting team members!
We have started translating new material in phases 6 and 7 while the revision and update of previous phases is also going on. The plan is for all the work to be completed by November 30th so that a final revision can be made through December, and the version to go live early in the New Year.
