It's worth it, especially if you are not able to attend any of the in-person conferences.

It is worth every minute. I made a couple of fruitful contacts too. Proz should make it a half yearly feature.

I can't argue with the logic of having the virtual conference on translator's day, but that is also the day before my wedding anniversary. My husband and I were off in the mountains with no internet and no regrets.

I did but I won't attend this year's Jul 6, 2010

I know it was judged a resounding success but I didn't really see any benefit for my business. Maybe it's just me but I found it confusing to see all these names and chats going on - couldn't follow anything nor did I find the presentations particularly inspiring.

I'll stick to attending in-person conferences.

I didn't really get it, to be honest. Although admittedly I just dipped my toes in and didn't really get stuck in.

Am I glad I'm not the only one. Maybe it's the 'young ones' that got the whole concept

I'm not one of the "young ones," but... Jul 6, 2010

I enjoyed it. Didn't have time to take full advantage of it, but I liked what I heard, especially Henry's talk.

Yes Jul 7, 2010

As a lone translator working from home with no contact with the outside translation world save for the internet, I found the Proz conference a welcome opportunity to physically hear from other actors in the translation industry rather than just reading about things. I thoroughly enjoyed the presentations.

No, but I wanted to Jul 11, 2010

I had work and a deadline to meet, so I was unable to attend.
