A native Tagalog speaker, I
spent almost 7 years working at a Canadian Embassy where part of my role as
program assistant was to translate and make summaries of client correspondence
from Tagalog to English as well as provide consecutive interpreting support
during interviews. Since moving to Vancouver, Canada in 2001, I took on
various positions in the field of education, insurance and social services.

After taking relevant
courses in medical and legal interpreting, I started rendering freelance service
to government and private language interpreting and translation service
providers.  They perform 24-hour, year-round, on-site and remote medical,
legal and community services, 911 calls, auto insurance, telecommunications,
utility and warranty support in Canada and USA.

I have special interest in
voice acting and took lessons in narration and commercials. I love to interact with people and help them.  With solid years
of experience in the industry and as someone who understands the cultural
dynamics of the language, I am in the right place to assist you. I generally
have a good availability one to weeks ahead, but I can also often accommodate
shorter timescales for urgent projects.
