As the name suggests, they invest in a variety of asset classes including equities, bonds, property, structured products and alternative assets such as hedge funds. This means that any underperformance from one asset class should be balanced by outperformance from another.

I appreciate you taking the time to analyze this. In the document I have from the client, it is written as one word. Of course, that doesn't mean anything. Given the nature of the document, I cannot talk to the individual that wrote it. Nonetheless, perhaps it should have been two separate words.
