Well, 'pluma' means 'plume' = a large, often brightly coloured bird's feather.
But 'plumas de porco preto' (black pig's plumes) makes no sense to me

As you can see, "plumas" is a part of the loin, specially cut:

"Pluma"
A "pluma" é uma peça de carne que se situa junto ao bico do lombo do porco preto, na parte magra. No bico do lombo há duas peças, o lombo propriamente dito e um músculo, a "pluma", que ajuda a fazer o bico do lombo na sua parte magra. As duas "plumas" de cada porco têm um peso total de 400 gramas, ou seja, 200 gramas cada.

"Porco preto" is the type of pig that is bread in the south of Iberia. It was also named, a few years ago, "pata negra":

Usually, the word "pork" is used for pig's meet...

agree Mielle : good explanation, but I would always use Iberico (the race of the black pig) instead of Iberian (native to the Iberian peninsula) to describe any Iberico product.
