"In the Czech Republic, the main focus is on business with affluent retail customers. In
order to improve the way these customers are addressed via the existing branch network,
various projects have been launched. Alternative sales alliances, such as joint credit card
issuance with mobile provider Vodafone (”AQUA“), are being expanded. In the corporate
customer business, the Bank promotes capital and liquidity-light products. In the Czech
Republic, as in other countries, the Bank generally prefers to lend to existing customers with
good credit ratings. Internal improvements are also being developed to supplement the
market-related measures.
For example, the deployment of a central IT system will contribute to a reduction in the
administrative cost of technology and processing".
