Regente da cadeira de fisiologia

Portuguese to English Other Other
A minha dúvida é “regente”: qual é a posição exacta? Just “Professor”? (O indivíduo é Prof. associado na universidade, mas pergunto-me se o texto quer só dizer “professor da disciplina”, ie “professor teaching the course” . Ou é Department Head? Chair?

Desde já obrigada pela ajuda..

3 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "A little more research (a lot:) reveals that our closest position is "program coordinator". Thank you to all! P.S. An associate prof. can't be a Chairman or Dept. Head.. at least in the NA system.."
