「部門を越えて共通の課題の場合、その対策については全社的に”横通し/横展開する”必要がある」といった具合に一つの部門だけではなく、全社的に適用する必要があるといったような意味合いで使ってます。何か良い英訳があれば教えてください。

これはトヨタ生産方式の用語で、あるラインや作業場などで成功した対策を他の類似のラインや作業場に展開すると言う意味です。トヨタ系のメーカーでは上記のように訳しています。
ちなみに英和ではなく、和英ですね。

会社によっては「ＹＯＫＯＴＥＮ」とそのまま使う場所もありますが、分からない米人にとっては意味不明になりますので、上記の訳をお勧めします。
ちなみに英和ではなく、和英ですね。

この表現はトラックメーカーでの会議でよく出てきてto apply cross functionallyとか似たようなこれまで訳出をしていましたが、English nativeの方のご意見を聞きたかったので質問をさせていただきました。cross-lined throughout the entire companyという表現は思いつかなかったのでとても参考になりました。どうもありがとうございます。
