Als Hochabsolutismus bezeichnet man eine Herrschaftsform des 17./18. Jh. mit unbeschränkter Herrschaft eines Monarchen (Ausspruch des franz. Königs Ludwig XIV. (*05. Sep. 1638 †01. Sep. 1715) (des sogenannten 'Sonnenkönigs': "L'etat c'est moi" (Der Staat bin ich))).

Putem categoric discuta despre "monarhie absolutista", dar aici, in text, vad ca pica accentul pe "absolutism" ca substantiv.... oricum, suntem pe aproape si asa, si asa.
