Reč sump svakako znači karter. Rečnik koji ja imam tu reč tako definiše. Osim toga, www.thefreedictionary.com/sump takođe objašnjava da je to mesto gde se skuplja ulje iz motora. E sad, da li je zaista važna i nijansa "deep" ne znam. Možda bi se jednostavno moglo reći karter.

Ja otprilike razumijem cemu sluzi ''oil pan'' i ''sump'' i sama sam nasla vase reference ali zelim tacan naziv na bosanskom jeziku i ne znam napraviti razliku izmedju ova dva pojma. :(
