rhythmic
I don't think you have to translate the term literally, i.e. something made to be rhythmic. Just rhythmic structures gets the idea across.
Why should there be something natural about the process of aligning two structures so as to make them rhythmically congruent? One plausible hypothesis is that this is the basis of coordination among speech articulators in ordinary talking. On this view, singing is just a kind of regularized and stylized form of speaking. In both cases, rhythmic structures are serving a coordinative function.

(structures) supported by rhythm
Just thought that it might be an idea to slightly rephrase it. The children find it easier to learn things if the structures are supported by rhythm.
Discussion
"Only your own work" refers to the ideas behind the dissertation and the way they are set out and developed. Here an outsider has to be careful not to impinge too much. Philgoddard is right here, it might be construed as excessive copy-editing.
However, it is perfectly legitimate to ask for help on translating concepts and terms, e.g. at KudoZ.
