Am translating users' opinions on websites for booking holidays or hotels. Have come across this comment several times but cannot understand exactly what it means. Any ideas? Many thanks

Discussion

Sandra Petch Nov 27, 2007:
100% agree with Philippe and Mara, "il n'aime pas trop les prix cassés" - when it's too cheap it's too good to be true, must be a catch etc.
French Foodie Nov 27, 2007:
whoops, of course that should be rock-bottom
French Foodie Nov 27, 2007:
I immediately thought as Philippe suggests, that is it a typo. He's leery of ock-bottom prices.
Susan Gastaldi (asker) Nov 27, 2007:
No, not a typo. Definitely exists as a term but don't know what it means!
PFB (X) Nov 27, 2007:
Typo for "prix cassés" ?

agree ShaneBoisvert : Agree. I think the nuance here is the competition, as in they "broke" the competitor's price, i.e. undercut them
