Guys, what is a normal price for translating Youtube video-5 min long?

1. It takes 6-10 minutes to transcribe 1 minute of audio, so you'll be busy 30-50 minutes just to transcribe it.
2. Then, 150 words per minute x 5 minutes = 750 words to translate.

How exactly did you come up with that figure? 150 words. Do you think that's the average length so to speak?

Subtitlers should charge per minute, not per word. There's no reliable way to measure the word count for subtitles. Sure, you can import it in MS Word, but you'll have to omit the event numbers and timestamps to get an accurate figure. Else, the word count would be inflated, massively.
