Hey everyone,

I saw a subtitling project that says: "Having a previous experience working with Netflix is a MUST"

I have some experience with subtitling, but not with Netflix. I'm curious to know what exactly they mean and what this experience of working with Netflix amounts to.

Thanks,

Netflix experience Aug 30, 2021

Hello, Farshad. Netflix has a list of preferred vendors (can be found on their website) when it comes to subtitling. Some or all of those vendors (don't know for sure) have a special program where their best translators can work directly on the Netflix subtitling tool and with Netflix project coordinators and notably for a better rate. The process would be quite long to get accepted in one of those agency and receive enough projects to be considered.
