I am fluent in only two: USA English and Mexican Spanish, plus familiarity with the Chilean version and of course Tex-Mex.
But I know those two very thoroughly and use them both on a daily basis at all levels in a natural environment. Having an excellent balance is something that has given me great advantages in my profession since the day I started.

- Depending on what you mean, of course, but I live, dream and think at least as much in my acquired language as my native language. It depends which country I'm in.
I don't speak any other languages fluently any more, but can read a couple I have never spoken (Swedish and Norwegian) and a couple more than I am no longer fluent in (French and German).
I can catch a good deal if I hear them on TV, and could perhaps revive them given time. If I am visiting Germany... See more
