This training will be devoted to setting up and using the general features of Wordfast Pro. A workflow approach from translation quoting to delivery will be used and practical exercises will focus on creating and using glossaries and translation memories, as well as handling various file formats.

By the end of this training, you will be able to use Wordfast Pro to:
Create a translation project
Create a translation memory and glossaries
Import TMs and glossaries
Analyze a file
Translate, edit, and proofread DOC, HTML, XLS, and PPT files
Customize your keyboard shortcuts
Prerequisites - IT Requirements
Working knowledge of MS Word and fluent in English.
Unless specified otherwise, trainees must bring their own laptop for the training with an installed version of Wordfast Pro (demo or full version). If you are having problems installing the software please contact trainer before the training day.
Note: Trainees who have paid for and received a training session of at least one full day are eligible to a discount (over 25%) on a Wordfast license they buy for themselves. This represents savings of up to $170 - the cost of the training!
Return on investment or reimbursed! The trainer guarantees to refund you 100% of the course fee after one month if you haven't seen a return on your investment. This of course will be based on your honest assessment of whether you are translating better and faster as a result of what you've learned.
