As a Caribbean kid who grew up in Norway, I can say I've learned a thing or two about culture and language differences. I spoke Spanish at home, Norwegian in the outside world, and English with international friends. Initially, I was exposed to English through Television, music, art and all other interesting media for a developing child and teenager. English soon became the dominant language for my thinking, without disregarding the daily use of the other two.

I grew an interest for languages and cultures quite early on in school and became fairly good in language comprehension, in addition to developing a love for diversity among people. I've been translating since childhood, for family members, friends and strangers. Weather it be written documentation, interpreting live at church or just ordinary conversations where there was a language barrier.
