I am starting out as a freelance translator. I have a firm grasp of the Dutch (native, higher vocational level) and English (near- native, higher vocational level) languages with an understanding of proper sentence structure, grammar rules and vocabulary. I am currently enrolled in a Dutch teacher training course at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Tilburg (Bachelor of Education program) and I am doing very well. I am also working towards my Cambridge Proficiency Exam and am confident in my ability as a translator. I will be glad to do a test translation for you as proof of my capabilities.

I am a quick learner with a broad field of interest ranging from technology to philosophy. I really want to start a career in translation and I would appreciate it greatly if I was offered an opportunity.
