Bio

Ever
since I was in my lower secondary, I found that I was very talented at
languages and I dedicated all my efforts to learning and using them correctly.
My biggest passion was English, which I started learning from a young age and
continued developing by pursuing academic studies and later moving to the
United Kingdom where I perfected it. At the same time, I graduated a BA for
Italian and French languages as well as an MA in French Studies (variants of French).

I first started working as a
freelance translator after I graduated my academic studies (2005). I did that
as a part-time activity, as I was working at the time in education as a French and
Italian teacher. For
the last five years I have been working as a translation project manager thus coming across various projects and enhancing my professional experience.

I
find translating very challenging, but also very rewarding and educational, as
each project requires a certain amount of research and helps improve my skills
and also builds up my confidence and experience. Characterised by a commitment
to quality and an eye for detail, with strong organisational skills including
addressing priorities, planning skills and excellent time management, I am highly
motivated and committed, with excellent interpersonal, communication and
language skills developed through academic and commercial experience. I am used
to meeting multiple, concurrent deadlines, having to prioritise workloads and
work well under time pressure.
