Abstrakt
Cílem práce bylo analyzovat příčinnou souvislost abiotického prostředí a zdravotního stavu lesních porostů na území přírodní lesní oblasti Jizerské hory. Analýza je založena na hypotéze, že zdravotní stav je vyvolán vyčerpáním odolnostního potenciálu lesních ekosystémů, takže i současná imisní zátěž, ve formě atmosférických depozicí síry a dusíku, v kombinaci s výkyvy klimatu (změny teplotního a vláhového režimu) a stavu přízemního (troposférického) ozónu způsobují jejich poškození. Pro pochopení a porozumění potenciálního vlivu polutantů SO2 a NOx a stresorů klimatu na lesní ekosystémy potřebujeme získat značný objem dat o abiotickém prostředí i v území, kde se měření těchto dat neprovádí. Proto údaje o teplotních poměrech, vláhové bilanci, slunečním záření, koncentracích ozónu, depozičních tocích síry, dusíku a iontů vodíku byly odvozeny přes modelové aplikace a interpolační techniky..
Ke zpracování vícerozměrných datových úrovní nelze používat běžné analytické a statistické postupy, ale je nutné využít geostatictické metody, založené na aplikaci vícerozměrných metod. Analýza zdravotního stavu lesních porostů (vyjádřená defoliací) a parametry abiotického prostředí lesních porostů je provedena na základě aplikace jednoduché i vícerozměrné regresní a korelační analýzy. Na základě aplikace shlukové analýzy bylo možné definovat prostorové rozložení pěti oblastí potenciální dispozice k poškozování lesních porostů. Z výsledků vícenásobné korelace a regrese byl pro každou oblast potenciální dispozice sestaven model vysvětlující stav defoliace lesních porostů.

Abstract
The paper sets out to analyse the causality of the abiotic environment and health condition of forest stands for the territory of the Jizerské hory Mts. natural forest region (hereinafter NFR). The analysis is based on a hypothesis stating that the health condition is induced by the exhaustion of the forest stands resistance potential so that even the present air pollution load in the form of atmospheric sulphur and nitrogen depositions combined with climate extremes (changes of temperature and moisture regimes) and the ground (tropospheric) ozone leads to their damage. To reach an understanding of the potential impact of SO2 and NOx pollutants and climate stressors on forest ecosystems, a considerable amount of data on the abiotic environment needs to be acquired also for the territory in which such measurements of the data are not made. This is why the data on temperature conditions, water balance, solar radiation, ozone concentrations and deposition flows of sulphur, nitrogen and hydrogen ions were derived through model applications and interpolation techniques.
Common analytical and statistical procedures cannot be applied for the processing of multidimensional data levels. Geostatistical methods need be used instead based on the application of multidimensional methods. The health condition analysis of the forest stands (as manifested by defoliation) and parameters of the forest stands abiotic environment is carried out by applying simple and multidimensional regression and correlation analyses. The cluster analysis helped determine spatial distribution of five areas of potential disposition to the damage of forest stands. The results of a multiple correlation and regression for each potential disposition area were put together to form a model explicating the forest stands defoliation status.

‘IS FAIR TRADE really fair?’ This question, coming from a bright 10-year-old at a meeting between adivasis (indigenous peoples) from India and schoolchildren in Britain, took us completely by surprise. The children had been studying the story of the adivasi tea growers in a village called Chembakolli in the Gudalur valley, southern India. They are selling their tea directly to consumers through Just Change – a new initiative that seeks to take fair trade further.
ACCORD, the organization we work for in India, helped them to legalize possession of their ancestral lands by planting tea. While this raised their incomes, it also left them vulnerable to what are euphemistically called ‘market forces’. Our search for a more secure market led us to the fair trade movement. It seemed like the answer to our prayers.
Fair trade was path-breaking. It moved the cheese. Shouting ‘Fair Trade Not Aid!’ changed the tune from charity to justice. Using the term ‘fair’ exposed the indigestible fact that world trade is unfair; that the rules are made to exploit poor countries and peoples.
The F word has become respectable. It’s now on everyone’s lips, out there in everyone’s supermarket, so cool that even Nestlé – the world's biggest food corporation – has the gall to grab the brand and cash in on it.
So what's the next step? Can we allow obviously questionable organizations – like Nestlé – to usurp fair trade and the years of of work done by its pioneers? Or can we move the goalposts and talk serious business for a change?
So far, fair trade has largely been the preserve of decent middle-class people who care about justice. Yet isn't it a sop to consumers' consciences, allowing them the feel-good factor? Buying fair trade is good for the soul, just as buying organic is good for the body.
But so far, from the producer's point of view it has meant little more than a move from greedy transnationals to apparently more benevolent ones. Minimum wages have come to be accepted as a basic right of workers the world over. A price the employer has to pay, no matter whether the business can afford it or not. But when it comes to small producers and farmers, why is a minimum price to cover the cost of production not seen as their fundamental right? All over the world we derive our small-scale farmers to death by exploiting them.
Thought the hype appears to revolve around the producer getting a decent prices, it is really about the consumer. Fair trade has to move on from being just another brand that allows consumers a choice. It has to change the power relationship between producers and the companies that buy their product – irrespective of whether these companies are rapacious transnationals or benevolent fair-trade ones.
Those British schoolkids knew their stuff and we had to think quite carefully before replying to their question. 'It's fair,' we concluded, 'but it could be fairer.' And that, in a nutshell, sums up the point we're at in the debate.
In this No-Nonsense Guide to Fair Trade David Ransom sets the context for this debate with first-hand stories from around the world. The debate will become more intense as the need for fundamental change to the unjust system of world trade grows more pressing. He points out that no-one is just a 'consumer' or a 'producer' – we are all both at the same time. He argues that the time has now come to put body and soul, justice and the environment, together. There's no time to lose.

„JE FAIR TRADE opravdu fér?“ Tato otázka bystrého desetiletého dítěte při setkání adivasiů (původních obyvatel) s britskými žáky nás zcela zaskočila. Tyto děti se právě učily o historii původních obyvatel, kteří se věnují pěstování čaje ve vesnici Čembakolli v jihoindickém údolí Gudalur. Hotový čaj se prodává přímo spotřebitelům, což zajišťuje nová iniciativa Just Change (Spravedlivá změna) snažící se do fair trade (spravedlivého obchodu) vnášet nové prvky.
Organizace ACCORD, pro niž v Indii pracujeme, pěstitelům pomohla díky výsadbě čaje zlegalizovat držbu území zděděného po předcích Ačkoliv jim pěstování čaje pomohlo zvýšit jejich příjmy, učinilo je také zranitelnějšími vůči eufemisticky nazývaným „tržním silám“. Hledání bezpečnějšího trhu nás přivedlo k hnutí Fair Trade, jež se zdálo být vyslyšením našich vroucných přání.
Fair Trade byl revoluční, představoval totiž zásadní změnu. Volání „Fair Trade namísto pomoci“ znamenalo nahrazení charity spravedlností. Používání výrazu „férový“ odhalilo nesnadno stravitelnou skutečnost, že světový obchod férový není a že jeho pravidla jsou vytvářena tak, aby sloužila vykořisťování chudých zemí i lidí.
Slovo začínající na „F“ začalo vzbuzovat respekt. Zní teď ze všech úst v každém supermarketu a je tak v módě, že i Nestlé – největší potravinářská korporace na světě – má tu nestydatost chopit se tohoto loga a profitovat z něj.
Jak tedy bude vypadat další krok? Můžeme dovolit očividně pochybným společnostem – jakou je například Nestlé – uzurpovat si fair trade a roky práce strávené jeho průkopníky? A nebo se pokusíme změnit pravidla hry a začít opravdu jednat?
Fair trade byl až doposud výhradní oblastí slušných lidí střední třídy, kteří mají smysl pro spravedlnost. Nejde tu však jen o faktor dobrého pocitu a úlitbu špatnému svědomí spotřebitelů?
Koupě fair trade výrobků zahřeje na duši tak, jako nákup produktů ekologického zemědělství svědčí našemu tělu.
Z pohledu výrobců to však doposud neznamenalo téměř nic jiného než jen posun od chamtivých ke zjevně shovívavějším nadnárodním společnostem. Minimální mzda je nyní celosvětově považována za základní právo zaměstnanců. Představuje cenu, kterou musí zaměstnavatel zaplatit, ať už si to podnik může dovolit nebo ne. Avšak proč na minimální mzdu nemají právo i malí producenti a zemědělci? Po celém světě nutí vykořisťování malé zemědělce k nejzazšímu kroku.
Ačkoliv se zdá, že veškerý ten humbuk je zejména o slušné odměně pro výrobce, jde především o spotřebitele. Fair trade musí překonat fázi, kdy je jen jednou z mnoha značek poskytujících spotřebiteli možnost výběru. Musí změnit poměr sil mezi výrobci a společnostmi nakupujícími jejich produkt – bez ohledu na to, jsou-li nenasytnými nadnárodními společnostmi nebo férovými dovozci.
Ale ony britské děti se vyznaly. Dříve než jsme jim mohli na jejich otázku odpovědět, museli jsme vše důkladně promyslet. „Je fér,“ připustili jsme, „ale mohl by být ještě férovější.“ A tato věta v kostce shrnuje současný stav debaty o hnutí Fair Trade.
V Průvodci spravedlivým obchodem David Ransom tuto debatu obecně přibližuje na základě vyprávění vlastních příběhů z celého světa. Živá diskuze se rozvine v okamžiku, kdy potřeba zásadní proměny nespravedlivého systému světového obchodu získá na naléhavosti. Autor také podotýká, že nikdo není jen „spotřebitelem“ nebo jen „producentem“ – všichni jsme jedním i druhým zároveň a že nyní přišel čas, kdy je třeba propojit tělo s duší a spravedlnost s ekologií.

Se jménem této významné i kontroverzní osobnosti dějin sedmnáctého století se lze setkat na mnoha místech střední a jižní Moravy. Jako pětiletý se malý Ditrichštejn přistěhoval s rodiči z Madridu do Mikulova. František Ditrichštejn, který byl klíčovou postavou rekatolizačního úsilí na Moravě, včetně toho násilného, pečoval o rodové statky vzorně, v Kroměříži razil dokonce vlastní mince. Zasloužil se mimoděk i o malebný kolorit charakteristické kulisy Mikulova, totiž o vybudování kaple a křížové cesty na vrch Tanzberk, dnešní Svatý kopeček. Stavba byla výrazem vděku za překonání morové epidemie z roku 1622.
Výraznou památkou na Ditrichštejny je jejich rodová hrobka, uzavírající dnes východní stranu mikulovského náměstí. Ditrichštejnům patřil až do druhé světové války také zdejší zámek. Když na něm sídlil olomoucký biskup kardinál Ditrichštejn, byl Mikulov faktickým hlavním městem Moravy.
Ani Brno nepřišlo o stopu kardinálovy slávy. V letech 1614–1620 si tu moravský místodržitel vybudoval raně barokní palác, v němž dnes sídlí Moravské muzeum. Reprezentativní budova hostila za českého povstání roku 1620 „Zimního krále“ Fridricha Falckého, roku 1748 císařovnu Marii Terezii a v říjnu 1805 před bitvou u Slavkova také ruského vojevůdce Kutuzova.

Translation - English Cardinal Franz von Dietrichstein
The name of this notable, yet controversial figure of the 17th century events can be encountered at numerous locations throughout central and southern Moravia. At the age of five, František moved with his parents from Madrid to Mikulov. Franz von Dietrichstein, a key figure of the recatholicisation effort in Moravia, including its violent form, tended his family's estates in an exemplary way and he was even minting his own currency in Kroměříž. He unwittingly merits credit for the scenic character of the typical Mikulov skyline because he erected the chapel and the Calvary to the Tanzberk Hill, the present Svatý kopeček Hill. The construction was an expression of gratitude for overcoming the plague epidemic of 1622.
A distinct monument reminding of the Dietrichstein family is their family tomb which today encloses the eastern side of the Mikulov Square. The local châteaux belonged to the Dietrichstein family until WWII. Mikulov became the factual capital of Moravia after Cardinal Dietrichstein, in the position of Olomouc bishop, moved his seat here.
Brno, too, did not get a raw deal from the cardinal's fame. Between the years 1614 and 1620, the Moravian vicegerent built himself an Early Baroque palace, the present seat of the Moravian Land Museum. The respectable building hosted Friedrich von der Pfalz, “The Winter King,” the empress Maria Theresa in 1748, and before the battle of Austerlitz in October of 1805, also the Russian military commander Kutuzov.

Source text - English Jamming is part of a historical continuum that includes Russian samizdat (underground publishing in defiance of official censorship); the anti-fascist photomontages of John Heartfield; Situationist detournement (defined by Greil Marcus, in Lipstick Traces, as "the theft of aesthetic artifacts from their contexts and their diversion into contexts of one's own devise"); the underground journalism of '60s radicals such as Paul Krassner, Jerry Rubin, and Abbie Hoffman; Yippie street theater such as the celebrated attempt to levitate the Pentagon; parody religions such as the Dallas-based Church of the Subgenius; workplace sabotage of the sort documented by Processed World, a magazine for disaffected data entry drones; the ecopolitical monkeywrenching of Earth First!; the random acts of Artaudian cruelty that radical theorist Hakim Bey calls "poetic terrorism" ("weird dancing in all- night computer banking lobbies...bizarre alien artifacts strewn in State Parks"); the insurgent use of the "cut-up" collage technique proposed by William Burroughs in "Electronic Revolution" ("The control of the mass media depends on laying down lines of association...Cut/up techniques could swamp the mass media with total illusion"); and subcultural bricolage (the refunctioning, by societal "outsiders," of symbols associated with the dominant culture, as in the appropriation of corporate attire and Vogue model poses by poor, gay, and largely nowhite drag queens).
An elastic category, culture jamming accommodates multitude of subcultural practices. Outlaw computer hacking with the intent of exposing institutional or corporate wrongdoing is one example; "slashing," or textual poaching, is another. (The term "slashing" derives from the pornographic "K/S"---short for "Kirk/Spock"--- stories written by female Star Trek fans and published in underground fanzines. Spun from the perceived homoerotic subtext in Star Trek narratives, K/S, or "slash," tales are often animated by feminist impulses. I have appropriated the term for general use, applying it to any form of jamming in which tales told for mass consumption are perversely reworked.) Transmission jamming; pirate TV and radio broadcasting; and camcorder countersurveillance (in which low cost consumer technologies are used by DIY muckrakers to document police brutality or governmental corruption) are potential modus operandi for the culture jammer. So, too, is media activism such as the cheery immolation of a mound of television sets in front of CBS's Manhattan offices---part of a protest against media bias staged by FAIR (Fairness and Accuracy In Reporting) during the Gulf War---and "media-wrenching" such as ACT UP's disruption of The MacNeil/Lehrer Newshour in protest of infrequent AIDS coverage. A somewhat more conventional strain of culture jamming is mediawatch projects such as Paper Tiger Television, an independent production collective that produces segments critiquing the information industry; Deep Dish TV, a grassroots satellite network that distributes free-thinking programming to public access cable channels nationwide; and Not Channel Zero, a collective of young African-American "camcorder activists" whose motto is "The Revolution, Televised." And then there is academy hacking---cultural studies, conducted outside university walls, by insurgent intellectuals.
Thus, culture jamming assumes many guises; let us consider, in greater detail, some of its more typical manifestations.

K/S neboli „slash“ příběhy jsou vystavěny na tušeném homosexuálním podtextu v příbězích Star Treku a jsou často oživovány feministickými impulzy. Tento výraz jsem si vypůjčil k použití ve všeobecném významu a aplikuji ho na libovolnou formu sabotáže, ve které jsou příběhy vyprávěné za účelem masové spotřeby perverzně přepracovány.) I have worked as a freelance translator and interpreter since I graduated from university in 2005. I have collaborated with multiple translation agencies whose conditions and attitudes differed widely, which resulted in a deeper cooperation with some of them and in my ensuing focus in the fields of forestry, ecology and agriculture. I have also engaged in translations of papers and larger publications dealing with demographic, sociological as well as environmental and trade-related issues, which all match my natural interests. Apart from social and environmentally-oriented works I also ventured into the world of computers (localization) and new media.
I have frequently used CAT software, such as Trados, Helium and OmegaT, but my experience has shown that it only fits certain translation types and scopes. Every translation requires a custom-design solution which I am able to deliver in line with the agreed conditions.
