Presently, I am a member of the panel of translators of the Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, which is the cover-to-cover translation of the Russian journal Prikladnaya Matematika i Mekhanika.
Since 1974, I have translated thousands of scientific articles, as well as numerous books, from Russian to English mainly in physics, chemistry, and biological sciences for various publishers, such as Keter’s Israel Program for Scientific Translations, Plenum (Consultants Bureau), the American Institute of Physics, Wiley, Gordon and Breach, and Elsevier.
In addition, beginning in 1994, I have translated diverse technical documents from Hebrew to English for business clients and academic institutions in Israel.
Since 1999, I have also been a technical writer, specializing in computer software.
I have an M.Sc. degree in physical chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel, and a B.A. degree in chemistry from Yeshiva University in New York. |
