All in a week's work! Contracts for services, construction, etc. EN-NL over 20,000 words NL-EN certification documents for GDPR compliance and general conditions. More than 10,000 words. 1 user Mad rush before the end of the year. From Spanish tourism board (ES-NL) to legal/financial management texts (EN-EN). Last work on privacy documents - preparing for my holidays. I will be back mid July! 2 users Just finished a shipbuilding agreement which I enjoyed as anything to do with boats is my passion. Followed by a blog about dropshipping and another blog on outdoor toys for kids. Last days for privacy policies. Another 13,000 words to proofread. Terminology (EN-NL) remains difficult. GDPR uses specific terms for data transfer; fair processing; establishing, exercising and defending legal claims. GDPR, what else? 5,000 words to translate, followed by another 5,000 words to review

Working on financial translations: investment texts on hedge funds, macro-economic developments, multi-asset strategies for a large European bank Review of an agreement in EU context and then starting a large legal project: translating nine different B2B contracts, only a short marketing review this week - no extra time this week! This week was almost entirely dedicated to a large EN-NL EU-related text: a visit report on the implementation of the Directive concerning reduction in the sulphur content of certain liquid fuels for ships. This week started with a training day on financial translation (NL-EN), followed by working on a large technical project EN-NL on warehouse systems (sorters). Webinar today - legislation amendments and proofreading part of a technical manual for wind turbines (aprox. 3,000 words) Training material about insurance fraud for an insurance company, approx. 8k words.
COM unit for a full-face mask, followed by a large translation for a toothbrushing app.
(edited) After editing a legal translation that had gone wrong and transcreation tasks for safety equipment, I am now working on texts for a toy manufacturer's website (15,000 words) Editing an EU-legislation related agreement (5500 words). Starting on the translation of a customer satisfaction survey.
Marketing and transcreation is on the menu today. Creative editing of a text for high-tech audio and editing stray subtitles for a shaver's "first Use" video.

Worked on tender documents for multipurpose vessels and training material for tram drivers, NL-EN and EN-NL.

Website articles on working in the cloud and other solutions for a hardware manufacturer, 10,000 words, EN>NL Two revisions, 12k (bottle making machine) and an update for corporate policies (3k). Smaller translations and editing for safety equipment, a purchase survey for a 90 ft yacht into EN, boats website text, and started with next week's job - website texts B2B about IT solutions, working in the cloud and other wonderful things. Happy International Translation Day! This week: * a training for car technicians on drive line components. * proofreading part of a manual for a bottle-making machine (more next week). * An addition to general conditions I translated before. |
