Por tus cartas sé ahora que en junio del 40 estabas en Pehuajó, en julio llegaste a Bolívar, de donde yo había emigrado el año anterior después de enseñar geografía en el colegio nacional, horresco referens. Andabas dando tumbos musicales por mi zona, Bragado, General Villegas, Las Flores, Tres Arroyos, pero no volviste a Chivilcoy, la batalla junto a la mesa de billar había sido demasiado para vos. Todo eso asoma ahora en tus cartas como de un extraño portulano perdido, y también que en Bolívar paraste en el hotel La Vizcaína, donde yo había vivido dos años antes de mi pase a Chivilcoy, y no puedo dejar de pensar que a lo mejor te dieron la misma pieza flaca y fría en el piso alto, allí donde yo había leído a Rimbaud y a Keats para no morirme demasiado de tristeza provinciana. Y el nuevo propietario, que se llamaba Musella, te acompañó sin duda hasta tu pieza, frotándose las manos con un gesto entre monacal y servil que bien le conocí, y en el comedor te atendió el mozo Cesteros, un gallego maravilloso siempre dispuesto a escuchar los pedidos más complicados y traer después cualquier cosa con una naturalidad desarmante. Ah, Felisberto, qué cerca anduvimos en esos años, qué poco faltó para que un zaguán de hotel, una esquina con palomas o un billar de club social nos vieran damos la mano y emprender esa primera conversación de la que hubiera salido, te imaginas, una amistad para la vida.

I am French, born in Uruguay. I belong to the first generation of my family born here. Furthermore, I grew up in a bicultural and bilingual home, so I have both languages in my blood, and I can say that I have been translating all my life. I am native in both languages, in addition to handling English and Portuguese with great fluency. Passionate about art and architecture in particular, I did my first university studies in this area, obtaining the title of architect in 2015.
I have also been a French teacher, for natives and foreigners, who have wanted to have contact with the language and culture for more than 5 years, and this has meant that in recent years I have decided to study a career as a public or sworn translator, in order to continue expanding my language skills and services.
My first work experiences allowed me to learn to adapt to a dynamic and highly demanding workplace. Accustomed to working in a team and collaboratively. Always interested in the creative detail of things. I am now looking for new challenges.
I consider myself empathic, proactive and a great team worker. Not only that, but I discovered in the world of translation a fertile ground to develop. Interested in various subjects, I seek to perfect my task and my mastery of them.
