Latin term

versitas

Latin to English Other Linguistics
Dear colleagues,
this is supposedly a Latin word but I am not even sure as my Latin-Hungarian dictionary does not contain it. Nor did I find it on the internet. I need it badly and quite urgently for my journalist work. Can anyone kindly help me by telling me the English or Hungarian meaning of versitas? (NB it is NOT veritas, but versitas).
Thanx,
Moni

tendence, reduction (from "verso" > to go toward / "versus" > "direction"))

It's late/ scholastic Latin.
That's where "uni-versitas" comes from, for example, "sometihing tending to be one".

neutral Zrinka Milas : What about "turn"?// It is always easier to feel the word than to express it. (Sometimes I ask myself why do I have to talk at all).Thank you very much, Leonardo! Very sweet of you!

"Turn" would be "verto", of which "verso" is the frequentative... Still, it's just a slight nuance of meaning between "turn to" and "tend to"// Because it means you're right! How do you feel today? // Everything will be fine. My thoughts and prayers...
