Latin term

MEGISTRI NEGOTIUM GERENDI

Latin to English Art/Literary Education / Pedagogy
Preceded by "ad gradum" so this is a university degree. Is it a Master's in Business Administration? Many thanks. It is a diploma.

Discussion

Jennifer White Sep 2, 2022:
the actual certificate would probably be worded: .........."the degree of Master of Business Administration"
Lota (asker) Sep 1, 2022:
Bad spelling I agree! I pointed out that it is not written in proper Latin (mistakes). The client seems to be aware of it, apparently a bad batch of diplomas was printed out, with corrections issued next year. 😱
Thank you.

seems right but the spelling is awful. You can check the university course on line and see if it tallies with your text. You may also find the individual mentioned somewhere on Google, has worked for me in the past.

Master's [degree] in business administration

Apart from the misspelling in "megistri", which should be "magistri", this is grammatically (if not historically ;-)) correct Latin.
