Greek term
ρήξη
Greek to English
Medical
Medical (general)
shoulder joint lesions
Here is the context
" 1ou βαθμού ρήξη ακρωμιοκλειδικής άρθρωσης"
Not sure if "ρήξη" could be sprain or rupture. I've found that sprains have degrees but ruptures not.
Your thoughts on this please?

Comment: " ρήξη>rupture is correct but in this context does not give the full meaning. still thank you Evi!! "

Reference:
The page in the link below suggests it might be Type 1 injury that's intended, rather than 1st degree. Usually, ρήξη means rupture, but here it's the ligaments that are ruptured, not the joint itself. And to make it even more confusing, Type I is just a sprain, _not_ a rupture.
Discussion
"Ευρηματα συμβατά με 1ou βαθμού ρήξη ακρωμιοκλειδικής άρθρωσης."
I cannot seem to find enough results when I google "first degree rupture" ....
