I think it is important to use the concept depredar (predatory) because this implies more than simple usury-- some of these financial entities who employ predatory practices go beyond charging high interest rates, some have gone so far as to take advantage of certain vulnerable segments of the population (such as the elderly) to capitalize on their weaknesses
