Discovery of Past Encroachments Involving Excavations Not Monitored by xxx
If, as identified by the xxx’s Incident Reporting System, physical evidence is found of ***encroachment*** involving excavation that was not monitored near a covered segment, the area near the encroachment will either be excavated, or an above ground survey will be performed using the methods defined in NACE RP–0502–2002. Any indication of coating holidays or discontinuity warranting direct examination must be excavated, and remediated in accordance with Section 10.
