From a description of a traffic accident:
El impacto se ha producido claramente en carríl derecho. Se lo ha llevado puesto literalmente.
Any help would be appreciated here. I feel like I should know it, but I'm just drawing a blank and can't find a translation for this that fits the context.

Hit into something and drag it along / Ran over someone
Si el accidente fue con otro auto, recomendaría la primera opción. Por ejemplo, podrías decir algo como "They hit into it and dragged it for a few miles" (aunque recomendaría también agregar más contexto de quién sería el "they" y quien el "it" para que fluya con el resto del texto, claro). La otra opción funcionaría mejor si se trata de un accidente involucrando una persona.

Example sentence:
The blue car hit into the red one and dragged it for three miles.
He was fully ran over!

: Así lo entiendo también: perhaps "... literally dragging [it/him/they]" (?)

Spanish term (edited):

leave stuck in a face-off
Se lo ha llevado puesto literalmente : it literally ended (with the driver stuck ) in a face-off.

AllegroTrans
: Where does it say face-off? Or is this derived entirely from your imagination?
