As I said in my comment to yesterday's quick poll question, GDPR meant essentially a lot of extra work during one or two weeks...

I thought I had escaped (my area is medicine/pharmacy) but then a pharmaceutical company came with an urgent request for an update letter to clinical trial participants, via a good client, just when I had a little time due to a cancelled request by someone else.

Wonderful bunch of projects, especially since most of them were essentially the same repeated OVER and OVER and OVER.

I have been wondering why there isn't a general model where you would just fill in the company name. Why is everybody getting so creative?

Actually, I've been hearing about it more and more (everywhere on translation and interpreting media) but so far I didn't translate anything about this topic

If I weren't already snowed under with the type of project I enjoy, I might have accepted the ones I was asked to do. Luckily I didn't have to accept any. Even if I can produce a competent fit-for-purpose text in elegant prose, it's really not the kind of thing I enjoy doing.
