I am a qualified and experienced linguist, my native language is Italian and I have excellent level in English, German and Spanish.
I have a Master's degree in "Foreign Languages for International Communication". I am based in Manchester and currently work as freelance translator for a German translation agency and face-to-face and telephone interpreter for the National Health Service.
I also teach language classes for individuals and groups. In particular when working with larger groups, I have to employ a very flexible approach to make the lesson as engaging as possible for people with varying levels of ability.
After graduating in March 2017, I did a three months internship in the south of Spain, studying and cataloguing the large collection of literature by my favourite Spanish author: the Nobel winning poet Juan Ramón Jiménez.
In October 2017 I moved to the UK and started working as freelance translator and private teacher. I love having the opportunity to plan and organise my work, because this gives me the chance to travel a lot.
