Bio

I was born in South Korea but lived in America for 20 years. Now I live in Korea with my wife, a native English speaker. I got
interested in translation about six years ago, and within a year I was doing translation
work in various fields. Then I realized I needed to improve my translation skills,
so I took online courses at UC Berkeley, USA. I thought I needed to study translation
seriously if I was to make it my lifetime profession.

Since last year I’ve been leading the translation
team for our church pastor’s sermons (Korean to English). I have a great confidence
in myself as a professional translator. Now I need translation agencies to put
their trust in me, believing that I am a very serious translator and completely
committed to providing the best translation service possible within my abilities.

I love to do editing and proofreading, and subtitle
translation is quickly becoming my favorite translation work. There is one thing
I guarantee you—you will be impressed with my work ethics.
