Jag översätter handboken för en etiketteringsmaskin, och då står det så här i avsnittet om huvudtransportören:

Main conveyor

The main conveyor transports the products through the machine.
The operator will find an in feed queue sensor at the in feed stage of the machine.
This sensor is designed to save energy by stop- ping the conveyor and going into standby mode if it does not detect products present.

(Borde väl stavas Infeed ovan?)

Stage kan väl ibland översättas med Bord tror jag, men det verkar inte kunna användas här:
