Source text - English 1. Shut off the power supply at the main fuse box or circuit breaker.
2. Carefully unpack all the lamp parts and hardware and lay them on a clean work surface.
3. Place the mounting plate “B” over the centre of the ceiling junction box “A”.
4. Align the holes in the mounting plate with the holes in the junction box and attach with 2 mounting screws “D” and mounting washers “C”. Secure the screws with a screwdriver.
5. Gently pull the wiring down from the ceiling junction box and allow it to hang.
6. Carefully inspect the wires of the pendant lamp and the ceiling junction box. Usually, the “hot” or positive (+) wire is black, the neutral (-) wire is white and the ground wire is green.
7. The ceiling lamp has “hot” (+), neutral (-) and ground wires. The neutral (-) wire is the one with white wire inside, the ground wire has one green wire inside, and the other wire is hot (+).
8. Attach the hot (+) wire (usually marked as “L” on the wire) of the pendant lamp to the hot (+) wire of the junction box. Secure them together with a wire cap “E” and wrap the connection with electrical tape.
9. Attach the neutral (-) wire (usually marked as “N” on the wire) of the pendant lamp to the neutral (-) wire of the junction box. Secure them together with a wire cap and wrap the connection with electrical tape.
10. Attach the ground wire (usually marked as “G” on the wire) of the pendant lamp and the copper ground wire of the canopy to the ground wire of the junction box. Secure them together with a wire cap and wrap the connection with electrical tape.
11. Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections or safety will be compromised.
12. Adjust the wire “G” to a suitable height. Gently tuck the wire connections neatly into the ceiling junction box and tighten the wire.
13. Push the canopy up over the mounting plate “B” until it is aligned with the ceiling. Align the holes in the canopy with the holes in the mounting plate and secure with 2 canopy screws “F”.
14. Fasten the lampshade “H” onto the socket with the lamp ring “I”.
15. Insert one standard Type A bulb “J”, MAX 60W (not included).
16. Insert the visor “K” on an angle into the lampshade ”H” then level it once attached to the lampshade.
17. Restore power to the junction box and test the fixture.
18. The distance between the canopy and lampshade “H” must be a minimum of 4 inches (100 mm).
19. This ceiling lamp can be used with a dimmer switch.

7. La lampe suspendue comporte des fils positifs (+), neutres (-) et de mise à la terre. Le fil neutre (-) contient un fil blanc, le fil de mise à la terre en contient un vert, et l’autre fil est le positif (+).
8. Raccordez le fil positif (+) de la lampe suspendue (marqué d’un « L ») au fil positif (+) de la boîte de jonction. Maintenez-les en place à l’aide d’un capuchon de connexion « E » et entourez la connexion de ruban isolant.
9. Raccordez le fil neutre (-) de la lampe suspendue (marqué d’un « N ») au fil neutre (-) de la boîte de jonction. Maintenez-les en place à l’aide d’un capuchon de connexion « E » et entourez la connexion de ruban isolant.
10. Raccordez le fil de mise à la terre de la lampe suspendue (marqué d’un « G ») et le fil de mise à la terre en cuivre de la monture au fil de mise à la terre de la boîte de jonction. Maintenez-les en place à l’aide d’un capuchon de connexion « E » et entourez la connexion de ruban isolant.
11. N’inversez pas les connexions du fil positif (+) et du fil neutre (-) au risque de créer une situation dangereuse.
12. Ajustez le fil « G » à une hauteur convenable. Replacez les connexions avec soin dans la boîte de jonction du plafond, puis serrez le fil.
13. Remontez la monture jusqu’à la plaque de fixation « B » au plafond. Alignez les trous de la monture avec les trous de la plaque de fixation et fixez-les à l’aide de deux vis pour la monture « F ».
14. Installez l’abat-jour « H » sur la douille et serrez-le en place à l’aide de la bague de fixation « I ».
15. Insérez une ampoule standard de type A « J », MAX 60W (non comprise).
16. Insérez la visière « K » obliquement dans l’abat-jour « H », puis ajustez-la au bon niveau une fois bien installée dans l’abat-jour.
17. Rétablissez le courant de la boîte de jonction et vérifiez si le luminaire fonctionne.
18. La distance entre la monture et l’abat-jour « H » doit être au minimum de 4 pouces (100 mm).
19. L’intensité de l’éclairage peut être réglée au moyen d’un gradateur de lumière.
