본 RFA는 CSSK의 현재 사용하고 있는Fluorescent lamps 및 halogen lamps 조명등을 LED 조명등으로 교체하여 에너지비용을 절감함은 물론 CO2 발생량을 감소하고자 조명등 교체에 대한 승인을 받기 위한 것입니다.
현재 조명등은 2001년도에 설치한 것으로 년간 전기소모량이 년간 202,192KW 이며, 에너지 사용비용이 년간 24,263,078원이 지불되고 있다.
아울러 Engine test cell 및 engine service shop의 조도를 측정한 결과 약 120 ~150lux에 불과하여 전기소모량에 대비하여 효율성이 낮다.
이와 같이 작업장의 조도가 커민스 가이드라인의 25~30% 수준으로 낮아서 야간 작업이나 기타 흐린 날 작업할 때 작업자의 눈 건강에 위험요소가 있고, 작업능률이 저하된다. 또한 이런 조명의 작업환경에서는 안전사고가 발생할 우려가 많다.
그리하여 커민스 조도 가이드 라인에 따라 각 작업장에 적합한 조도를 유지하며, 년간 에너지 사용량을 202,192kW에서 82,256KW로 59%의 절감하고 또한 에너지 사용 비용이 년간 24,263,078원에서 9,870,682원 감소하여 59%의 비용을 절감할 수 있다. 아울러 유지보수 비용측면에서도 본 일반 조명등은 5000~10,000시간의 수명을 유지하나 LED lamp는 50,000시간의 수명을 유지하므로 유지보수비용 또한 80%의 절감할 수 있다.

The purpose of this RFA is to get an approval for replacing Fluorescent lamps and halogen lamps of CSSK that are currently used, with LED lights, in order to reduce energy costs and CO2 emissions.
The annual electricity consumption of the current lighting, which is installed in 2001, is 202,192KW and its energy use is being paid at the cost of 24,263,078 WON.
In addition, measuring illuminance of Engine test cell and engine service shop resulted in only approximately 120~150 lux, causing lower efficiency as contrasted with electricity consumption.
A work place appears to have low illuminance condition, specifically having 25~30 percent of the illuminance from the Cummins Guideline. It contains a risk factor of affecting eye health of a worker at night or on a cloudy day and lowering working efficiency. Also, the work environment with such condition may cause safety accident.
Therefore, if we maintain suitable illuminance at each work place following Cummins Illuminance Guideline, the expected result will include reducing 59 percent in annual energy use from 202,192kW to 82,256kW and decreasing 59 percent of its energy use cost from 24,263,078 WON to 9,870,682 WON. In addition, replacing LED lamp can reduce 80 percent in maintenance costs, because it maintains a life of 50,000 hours while general lighting maintains a life of 5000~ 10,000 hours.
